All returned checks are subject to a $35 service fee. Why? We are charged every time a customer's check bounces, therefore the customer is responsible for the resulting fee. (So don't write bad checks and all will be well!)
We understand that things don't always work out like you expect. That's why we accept returns of most of our merchandise. There are a few exceptions we do not accept, including test kits, test strips, and reagents. All returned items are subject to a 15% restocking fee. All returns must occur within 30 days of purchase.
Sometimes, we don't have the part you're looking for, but usually we can order it and have it shipped to our retail location for pickup. However, if it is a part we don't normally keep in stock, or you are a first time customer, we require payment up front. This is to prevent an unnecessary buildup of stock that can't be sold.
Our water testing services are complimentary for all of our paying customers. Each water test costs us money to run, so when you purchase from us, you help us pay for not only the most accurate test results in Greenville, but also the time our employees spend helping you understand your results.
If you prefer to purchase your supplies from another company, we don't hold it against you. However, our employees do not work for free. If you are a non-paying customer, the first water test is free, then each subsequent water test is $10.
Here at Outdoor Leisure, we have a reputation for accurate results and reliable advice. We are always glad to help out customers with any pool or hot tub problems you may have.
However, you must be a paying customer of Outdoor Leisure to take advantage of the advising services we offer. This includes water testing! We do not offer advice for chemicals or products purchased at other locations. As a growing business, we cannot afford to support other businesses by providing advice for their products. If you are not a paying customer of Outdoor Leisure but you would still like our help and advice, you will need to set up an appointment with a service technician. ClearBlue Waters will honor all warranty issues for items purchased through Outdoor Leisure or ClearBlue Waters as a part of our commitment to excelling in customer service.
However, we do not handle warranty claims for home buyers insurance or items not purchased through either Outdoor Leisure or ClearBlue Waters. Even though the items may be from manufacturers we use, "warranty centers" are contractual agreements with which Outdoor Leisure does not participate. We will service items that are outside of their original warranty, but we do not do service work for items that are still under warranty unless they were purchased at Outdoor Leisure. Those items must be sent back to the place they were purchased from.
All work will be done in a professional manner and will meet the manufacturer’s requirements for installation. All newly installed equipment is subject to manufacturer’s warranties and ClearBlue Waters will assist in warranty claims in items sold by ClearBlue Waters and/or Outdoor Leisure.
